THE FACESHOP HAUL~

Helloo guys~

Are you guys excited for school to start? Because I am LOL. I mean if you guys take away all the exams and essays and homework, I'm actually pretty excited to start my nursing journey! Anyways, so this week might be shorter than other weeks but I just wanted to talk about some products I got at THE FACESHOP. Keep in mind that the products that I will be talking about relates to people who have combo (more oily than dry) skin.

Product #1: Chia Seed Watery Lotion
So I got this product because I need a moisturizer. I picked chia seed specifically because it works with combo skin and that is what I have. It states on the side of the box that it is "a moisturizing lotion that improves suppleness and moisturizes the skin a degree higher with nutrients in chia seeds". It also has these 3 bullets points on the side of the box that also says

  • "A moisturizing lotion that restores the skin's innate clear luster: spreads onto the skin smoothly without stickiness and is absorbed quickly to prevent skin dryness.
  • Soft suppleness both inside and outside the skin: Germinated chia seeds, which draw and absorb moisture, not only hydrate but also nourishes the skin to effectively restore suppleness.
  • Contains 100% chia seeds extract instead of water: Chia seeds water is extracted within 24 hours via the Fresh method, instead of water delivers the vitality of the highly pure chia seeds.
For those who do not know, chia seeds are very good for you. There are many benefits to them (for example it gives you a lot nutrients with very low calories, theres lots of fiber and antioxidants in them as well, etc) which makes me 10x more excited to use this product. It retailed for $25 CDN (not including tax) and yes, it is a bit pricey but lets see if it'll actually do what it says.

Product #2: Mild Papaya Peeling
I got this product because I needed an exfoliator. I don't usually exfoliate but apparently we're suppose to do it weekly (oops). So this mild papaya peeling is basically a gel like substance and you just keep massaging it on your skin until it turns into like little balls (you'll understand what Im saying if you guys do decide to use this product LOL). It does not say much on the product about what it does except that it does say it is "a mild peeling product that contains natural enzymes from papaya removes the dead skin cells". I got a little sample of this one just to see if my skin gets a reaction from it. I'm not usually a sensitive skin person but I always want to be safe than sorry. This product retailed for $17 CDN (not including tax) so yeah I'm pretty excited to try this out too (plus, it smells good LOL)

Product #3: Rice Water Bright Cleansing Rich Oil
This is an oil based makeup remover with rice water solution added into it. On the product, it doesn't say much (other than in korean LOL) but there isn't much for me to explain about this product. I got this product because I had the exact same one in travel size and it works really well (especially trying to get rid of waterproof makeup, this works wonders). It retails for $17 CDN (again, not including tax).

On top of everything that I got, they gave me a selfie stick LOL (because I spent $35 and over) and A LOT OF SAMPLES LOL. I think that is something that I like about THE FACESHOP because they give out a lot of samples to promote their products and people like me, fall for it. I realized that I haven't talked about why I love THE FACESHOP products so much and that is because since it is a asian face brand, it works well with my skin.

Product #4: FACE MASKS
I got this for free but I just want to mention how amazing their face masks are. Maybe its just me, but I love how theres different options, the smell of the extracts, and how it feels after the serum sets in my skin.

Soooo that is all for this week! I hope you guys like reading my blog posts because I do enjoy writing them for you guys. I do want to say that since school is starting, it is going to be hard for me to keep up with posting every single week but I will try very hard to post one every week (if not, 2 weeks max LOL). Goodnight my fellow readers and until next week~
