August Favourites~

Hello guyss~

So since my July Favourites blog post had the most views, I decided to do an August Favourites post too! This month will a variety of my favourite things so I really hope you guys enjoy reading this week's blog post!

#1: Hask Argan Oil/ Macadamia Oil
This product is probably one of my best purchases I have ever made. These little magic potions is THE BEST thing for hair that is like mine or even natural hair. There is two that I want to mention right now 1. Hask Argan Oil Healing Shine Hair Treatment and 2. Macadamia Oil Revitalizing Shine Hair Treatment. It literally does what it says, gives your hair shine and treats it. The first one that I mentioned has keratin (which is a type of protein in your hair) that creates a smoothness for the hair. The second one has reparative antioxidants, which basically repairs damaged hair. Now both of them can be applied on wet OR dry hair (I prefer wet hair tbh) and only at the ends of the hair (or where it is damaged). If you guys have read my Hair Care Routine~ post, I did mention these products and the reason why I didn't add it to last month's favourites was that because I wanted to try it out and give it a few weeks to see if the results are actually true (because I only give you guys good, honest reviews). They are both little 18 mL bottles (yes, i know its pretty small) and in drugstores it retails for $2.50 CDN each bottle. I know you guys might be thinking "omg it is too expensive for an 18mL oil" but really it lasts awhile, especially for people who have short hair. For me, I have long hair and I used up one bottle in a month (not to mention my mom uses it sometimes too) and you don't even use a lot (I use a toonie coin size amount for my hair; for short hair I would recommend maybe half that size that I use). I definitely recommend this product!!! 10/10

*I FORGOT TO MENTION SOMETIMES IT GOES ON SALE FOR LIKE $3.00 FOR 2!!!!*

#2: Hask Argan Oil/Macadamia Oil Deep Conditioning Hair Treatment
So these are similar to what I just talked about EXCEPT these are deep conditioning hair treatment (which you guys should be doing every week to treat your hair!!!!!). These deep condition hair treatment states that it "moisturizes, revitalizes and repairs dry, damaged hair". It comes in like a package and can be found in drugstores for $2.50 CDN as well (its like right beside the oils LOL). This actually does its' job, I have tried the argan oil deep condition hair treatment with the argan oil and it gives really good results!! I recommend this product 10/10!!!

#3: Mac's Matte Lipstick in 'Kinda Sexy'
If anyone is looking for a nice, nude lipstick I would recommend Mac's Matte Lipstick in the colour "Kinda Sexy". It honestly looks so natural and it feels really good too!!  I believe it retails for $16 CDN in the Mac Stores but honestly it can be used up for over a year or two and its still okay (well at least for me because I sometimes leave them in the fridge so that it doesn't melt). Honestly, if this product goes out of stock I would cry. **** for those who don't want to spend $16 on a lipstick, I did find a dupe for it!! It is NYX Soft Matte Lipcream in the colour Stockholm***** tbh, Mac has a lot of nude lipsticks that I really want to try for the fall~

#4: Planners!!!!
This isn't really a beauty favourite but it is something that I really want to talk about for a while now! I recently got a planner at Chapters for $23 (yes, I know $24 for a planner i'm crazy!!) but honestly it is so cute!! Let me show you guys a picture first
Okay, honestly I am a sucker for cute planners (or anything stationary and cute) and I couldn't say no to this!!! First off, its in my favourite colour (that's already a win-win for me); secondly, I have a colour scheme going on in my room right that is like pastel colours with gold and white so this planner definitely fits the criteria; thirdly, its 16-8 month planner (which is good for school). Now planners are life savers when it comes to school so in order for me to get motivated into writing in my planners, I have to get one thats cute on the outside AND inside. Let me show you whats on the inside:

*giving credit to the website's pictures!!!!*

ISN'T IT CUTE??? OMG I'M GETTING SO EXCITED JUST BY LOOKING AT THEM!! You can find these pictures on the link I left above as well! The brand of this planner is called Ban.do, it comes in 3-4 different colours/styles (you can check them out at Chapters which I will link you guys as well!). The style of it does kind of look like Kate Spade planners but cheaper which is something I like very much :D I really like how they colour-coded the holidays and how every week it gives you kind of like an inspirational note just to make your week 10x better :) *I forgot to mention it has a pocket at the end!! omg???).
Here's the link to chapters:

#5: Pinterest
Okay, this is my last favourite of the month. Now i'm mentioning Pinterest because I have been using it a lot this whole entire summer. It is a great website for DIY's, ideas for rearranging your room, desk, your own house, etc. If you guys do have an account, please follow me on pinterest.com/jennytran1296 to check out some of the things I have reposted. If you guys don't have an account, check it out because I'm pretty sure you'll like it a lot :)

That is all my favourites for this month! I hope you guys like these posts because I really like talking about them with you guys! Goodnight my fellow readers~

*oh btw, I want to mention i'm not sponsoring anything at all* LOL
