July Favourites~

Hello guys~

Today I am going to be talking about my July Favourites. Now, I actually have a lot of things I want to talk about so get ready for a long blog LOL. Pictures are included as well!!

#1: Perfume Seed Soft Body Cream
This product is literally the best product I have ever purchased. I got it at TheFaceShop in downtown Vancouver (it was actually my first time going in there because that day they had a grand opening sale and whenever there is a sale, I just have to go in LOL) because of its cute packaging. The name of it says it all, body cream that is very lightweight, soft on the skin, AND the best part is that the smell stays on for the whole entire day. At this point, perfume isn't even needed anymore LOL. I know that some body creams can go a bit overboard with their scent, but this body cream has such a subtle rose-y smell that you'll fall in love with the smell instantly. I believe this retailed for $12-15 CDN? I don't remember because I was a few months ago since I last bought it (I had to restock again lol)

#2: Pore Minimizer Controlling Essence
It claims to "hydrate and care the appearance of pores for greater silkiness" and I believe it actually does the job. It is in a pump bottle (which I like very much) and usually one FULL pump is good for the whole face. Now for me, I have large, noticeable pores and I do see that using this really does minimize the pores on my face and it keeps my skin really soft afterwards. I usually put it on after I wash my face in the morning and at night and the scent of it is really soothing. *Sidenote* they recommend us only applying it to places where pores are noticeable so around the nose area, cheeks, "t-zone" but I apply it everywhere else on my face sometimes. If they had this EXACTLY in a moisturizer, it is worth the money. I bought this in Vietnam when I went over the summer and it cost about 500,000-550,000 dong which equals out to maybe $20-25 CDN? But here, it is retailed price for $12-$12.50 I believe.

#3: Milk Shake Leave In Conditioner
This product is literally my holy grail for my hair. For those that know me, I recently got my hair dyed in an ombre-ish kind of style and I went to Asia. My hair is totally dead, dry, and damaged (the 3D's LOL) but this product saved my hair. It is in a spray bottle form and you basically just put it in your hair after you're done showering. It smells really good (because it contains milk and honey lol) and it makes your hair softer than before when you put it on. It might take a while to actually see the results but it is totally worth it. I would recommend this product to ANYONE who has the 3D's LOL. It is retailed price for $18 CDN which isn't bad because it'll last you a while. Trust me. Plus, you don't need a lot, you only spray it to the damaged areas in your hair. (I'll do a hair care routine later on and show you guys what I do to make my hair so soft)
#4: Moroccan Oil Hydrating Conditioner
I am pretty sure a lot of people have heard about Moroccan Oil brand itself but it literally the best hair brand ever (to me at least). I use this with that ^ leave in conditioner and it works reallllyy well. It is a hydrating conditioner that is good for all hair types whether it is dyed or not (plus it is colour safe too) and it makes your hair really hydrated and smell good afterwards. I do see the results of it and I am very happy with it. I do recommend getting their hydrating shampoo to go with the hydrating conditioner for good results but the conditioner itself is really good. This was a bit pricey though and I am looking for an alternative but I can't seem to find any yet. It is retailed price for $22 CDN, I think. But it is worth the money in my opinion AND it does last a while (don't let the bottle fool you) you don't need a lot of it.
#5: Mac's Prolong Wear Foundation
If anyone needs a foundation for 1. long wear 2. sweat/heat proof, this is your go-to foundation and I am telling you, it isn't easy getting it off (unless its with makeup remover of course). When I went to Vietnam, it was literally 40 degrees everyday and every time I wore this foundation it actually stays on. No matter how sweaty I was, it didn't come off until I washed it off. The only thing that I do not like about it is how 1. it does not have SPF in it so you will need to apply SPF on it before putting on the foundation and 2. after I let it set, my face feels kind of sticky (but maybe it is just me though..LOL). My skin is fairly light so I got it in the shade NC30 (which is a bit darker but that was because I thought I was gonna get tanned AND I WAS!!) Overall, it is a good light/medium coverage foundation to have that stays on for at least 16 hours and gives a matte finish. On the website it says it costs $39.50 CDN but I think I got it cheaper in stores (I think I got it for $26 CDN). I am trying to find an alternative for it though so will updated but as if now, it is one of my favs LOL
#6: Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper (black ink)
I LOVE THIS EYELINER! And thats it.......

LOL jk. I love this liquid eyeliner because of how fast it dries. Like I mean just applying it once, it already sets in. For people who aren't good at wing eyeliner or applying eyeliner in general (lol me), this would definitely help. It gives you good grip of the eyeliner with its felt tip and applying it on the eyelid is really nice and smooth as well. I wasn't an eyeliner girl back then but after purchasing this eyeliner, I definitely love applying eyeliner LOL. I just really love it and I think people who are beginners like me would love it too. I got it at Sephora for the retailed price of $22 CDN and yeah it might be a bit a pricey for just an eyeliner but it lasts awhile ( I think I had it for over 4 months now?). This is really good. I recommend 100%!
#7: NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams
This is the last favourite, I swear LOL. I am pretty sure you guys have heard of NYX Soft Matte Lip Creams. Literally the. best. lip. creams. ever LOL. First off it dries quickly and matte AND it stays on for a long while. Now I love matte lipsticks and the fact that these dry off without drying your lips off makes it 10x better; it actually feels like you're not even wearing any lipstick. I cannot think of any cons to this product, only pros. These lip creams have lots of colours to choose from AND it retails for $5-8 CDN (depending if it is on sale or not). In my opinion, NYX is considered an in between of drugstore products and high-end products which I love because a lot of their products are affordable and are really good to use.

(oh and btw they smell reallly nice too)

so this is how it looks like, just in little lip cream bottles lol. I have 4 of them already in the colours of Stockholm, Antwerp, Istanbul, and Ibiza and I am going to go back and get more LOL.

One more thing I want to talk about before this ends is NYX lip pencils. I currently only have one because I want to try out how lip pencils work for me so I bought one from Funk and Frost (which btw is where I mostly get my NYX products) for $4.99 CDN in the colour Coffee. I actually really like it, it does dry out my lips though but I think thats how all lip pencils are suppose to do LOL. To me, I feel like it is a duplicate of Spice or Whirl from Mac.

***I just want to mention that it Coffee goes really well with Stockholm.****

Annnnnddd thats it guys! We finally reached an end to my July Favourites! I hope these reviews help and until we meet again on my blog!

Remember to spread the LOVE AND BEAUTY!!!! :D
